about us:
Who We Are & What We Do
Ampthill and Flitwick Flyers mission is to provide a running club that caters for ALL running abilities in the local and wider community.
Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
Qualified coaches provide suitable, safe, and structured training sessions so that runners can improve their fitness and running ability.
We strive to encourage, help, and support all our members, from beginners looking to get started with running to achieve 5k or 10k goals all the way through to experienced runners who wish to achieve longer distances.
We actively celebrate and encourage success, however small, through social media and at our annual awards presentation.

donations to our chosen charity
Every year AFF donates 15% of net income after costs of the 3 club races, the Flitwick 10k, the Marston 5K and the Ampthill Trophy to the charity we have selected.
Throughout 2023, we have chosen to support two charities close to the hearts of two of our members. Thrombosis UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thrombosis UK works tirelessly to increase awareness, research and understanding of thrombosis and to improve care for those affected. Find out more about Thrombosis UK.
Macmillan Cancer Support help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can. They provide financial, physical, and emotional support to the three million people in the UK living with cancer. Find out more about Macmillan Cancer Support.
In addition to the club donation, we will also undertake other fund-raising activities to help raise much needed money for these amazing charities.
